What we stand for

Five things we promise — and five we refuse.

These are the rules we wrote first and won't bend later. If we ever break one, you'll see it on this page.

We will always

  1. 1Publish how every score is calculated, in plain language, with the data behind it.
  2. 2Host core app data inside the EU/EEA, on infrastructure selected for renewable contracts or low-carbon grids.
  3. 3Give a real percentage of net revenue from every paid subscription to animal sanctuaries, wildlife & ocean conservation.
  4. 4Let mission-tier members vote each quarter on which of those three causes gets the bigger share of the pool.
  5. 5Publish a quarterly ledger of what we donated, to whom, and on what date — receipts included.

We will never

  1. ✕Accept money from a food brand to feature, hide, or soften a product's score.
  2. ✕Sell your scans, your diet, or any personal data — to anyone, for any reason.
  3. ✕Move core app data storage outside the EU/EEA without advance notice, a lawful transfer mechanism, and an updated sub-processor disclosure.
  4. ✕Show advertising, sponsored products, or affiliate-priced "recommendations".
  5. ✕Take outside investment from anyone whose business depends on what Forkin scores.
