  • 1 tbspred wine vinegar
  • 1 tspground cumin
  • 0.5 tspdried oregano
  • 1 pcsbay leaf

  • 0.25 tspblack pepper, freshly ground

  • 2 tbspfresh cilantro, chopped(optional)

The method

Step by step

    Heat the olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.

    Add the yellow onion and green bell pepper to the pot and sauté for 5-7 minutes, until softened.

    Stir in the garlic, ground cumin, and dried oregano, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
